Livonia Print is a proud license holder of Nordic Ecolabel (Nordic Swan) since 2012 and our environmental policy is based on its criteria. In developing criteria Nordic Ecolabel look at the whole cycle of the product and all its related environmental issues.

FSC

FSC®
Livonia Print has been certified as Chain-of-Custody company and has received the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate. In this way Livonia Print makes a contribution to promoting environmentally appropriate, socially benefical and economically viable management of the world’s forest resources.

Clients who would like to be involved in FSC programme by printing books on FSC certified paper and include FSC logo in their books are welcome to contact Livonia Print representatives for more detailed information before placing an order.

LPUA

The Latvian Printers’Association or Latvijas Poligrāfijas uzņēmumu asociācija (LPUA), registered in 1997 with members from printing houses, graphic art suppliers, paper suppliers and graphic art schools.

Main goals of the LPUA are:

  • to represent their members’ interests at all levels
  • to promote growth strategies within the printing industry
  • to develop a positive public opinion of the industry
  • to facilitate the development of graphic arts education in Latvia
