Send files using ”FileFlow”
- Files should be in Adobe PDF.
- Pictures should be in TIFF converted to CMYK or Greyscale with an optimum resolution of 300 dpi.
- Bitmap type pictures with an optimum resolution of 600 dpi.
Initial file check
- Do the files correspond to the specifications in the order?
- Are all the pictures in CMYK?
- Have all the technical parameters been taken into consideration?
Initial check of the other materials supplied by the publisher:
Colour proofs – whether they are certified and specified according to paper type (coated/uncoated)
Printed samples – printed by Livonia Print or another printing house
Preparation of files for plotters, colour proofing and CTP
- Imposition according to the technological drawing made with Heidelberg Printready Workflow
- Right profiles for colour proofing (each colour proof is certified according to the necessary print standard)
- Preparation of digital proofs to send to the customer
- After receiving customer’s approval, authorisation is given to CTP
