In line with our press standardization we also would like to receive PDF files that are problem-free and easy to work with. We recommend to use the PDF/X-4 file format. This is available in In-Design from CS3 and upwards, and can easily be used by in In-Design menu selecting File > Adobe PDF Presets > PDF/X-4 when making a PDF. Using this export setting will eliminate most of the common problems that happen when using other PDF settings. Many other applications have the preset built in as well.
